Globalization

I walked into an Apple store in the U.S. today and saw a curious sight - hordes of chinese tourists buying up all the iPhones, iPads, Mac minis and any Apple product they could get their hands on. One of them triumphantly held 5 boxes of new iPhone 4Ss. Even though all Apple products are made in China, Apple has cleverly been able to control their supply and pricing in a way that they are able to convince Chinese consumers to fly half way around the world to buy products made in their own backyard. Funny how globalization works.
